KEVIN MAXIE

Co-Founder, Struck Apparel

Kevin Maxie founded Struck Apparel with the idea that riders needed clothing that stood up to the rigours of our sport, and wanted to build on designs, fabrics, and technologies already utilized in other sports apparel in order to highlight an athletic aesthetic in equestrian clothing. As a former Grand Prix professional himself, and with engineering and MBA degrees behind him, he used insights from the industry to design and build a brand that focuses on sport aesthetics, and to highlight the specific needs of equestrian athletes.

ASHLEY MAXIE

Ashley co-founded Struck with her now husband Kevin after recognizing a need for more athlete-focused clothing for both male and female equestrians. She has a background in design and is an avid competitor in both eventing and currently showjumping.

NIGEL ROMICK

Nigel grew up in Thunder Bay playing every sport imaginable then eventually focusing on football during high school leading to a scholarship at Saint Mary’s University. Drafted to the Redblacks in 2014 suiting up for over 100 regular reason games and counting, 3 grey cup appearances, 1 grey cup ring, and finally the most important thing, having 2 beautiful children with wife and Spurs and Sparkles emcee, Melissa Lamb.
