On behalf the Spurs & Sparkles committee and Wesley Clover Parks, it is our great pleasure to invite you to join us for a magical evening unlike any other!  The 2024 Spurs & Sparkles charity gala will offer one-of-a-kind entertainment, incredible prizes, delectable food stations, and thrilling show jumping action.

Highlighting the evening will be the action-packed three-part “Get Up & Gallop” event. It’s off to the races in this rousing competition, where local business leaders driving golf carts team up with distinguished and internationally awarded equestrians on horseback to compete for the best time in an orchestrated obstacle course. Reigning champions, Team Terlin, will be back to defend their title, and guests will have the opportunity take part in the action by bidding on their favourite teams in the Calcutta auction!

Without the involvement of our community, Spurs & Sparkles would not be able to provide much needed support to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation. Proceeds from this event will directly support the top priorities of Queensway Carleton Hospital to ensure that patients receive world-class care, close to home, to the more than 500,000 people in our community who may turn to it each year.

Gather your friends and family to cheer loudly, dine finely and donate generously!

With warmest regards,

Karen Sparks & Catherine McLaughlin
