CHRISTINE WIGGINS

Christine is a hometown girl, born and raised in Ottawa. She rides for and helps operate Fiddler’s Green Stables with Becky Nuth. They are based out of Stittsville, Ontario and Ocala, Florida. Christine enjoys competing in both the hunter and jumper ring, but really specializes in the jumpers and has successfully completed up to the 2* and National Grand Prix level with several horses she has helped develop. She looks forward to continuing to build her skills and horsepower up to the top levels of the sport!

Flashdance is a 14yr old Hanoverian gelding owned by Genevieve DiPerna. Flashy loves show jumping and treats and is a complete ham with the paparazzi. He wants to always make sure they get his best angles. Flashy has spent most of his life in California and Florida, and this is his first summer on the Canadian Circuit!

Austin Lee anchors the weekend edition of CTV News Ottawa at Six.

Austin joined the CTV Ottawa team as a weekend news anchor in October 2023 after a two-year stint as the morning live reporter at CTV News Calgary where he was a frequent contributor to CTV News Channel.

His first taste of the news industry came in Fort St. John where he worked as a T.V. and radio reporter covering local stories from across the B.C. Peace Region.

Austin was born and raised in Campbell River, B.C. and outside of the newsroom, he is an avid sports fan who loves getting out for a round of golf or lacing up his skates to slap around a puck.

Starting his career during a pandemic made for an interesting introduction to the industry. Covering everything from crime, politics, economics and sports, Austin is always eager to put in the work to tell honest, balanced and informative stories.
