AMY MILLAR

As the daughter of Olympian and Canadian legend Ian Millar, Amy Millar was born into the equestrian sport. A mother of two, Amy was named to her first Olympic Games in 2016, competing aboard her talented 9-year-old gelding, Heros. The following year, she was crowned Canadian Show Jumping Champion.

In recent years, Amy's show career has been extremely successful, securing numerous FEI wins across Canada and the US. She remains a mainstay on the Canadian show jumping team and was a member of the gold-winning team at the Spruce Meadows Nations Cup in 2021 and the bronze-winning team in 2023. In 2022, Amy rode for Canada at the World Championships. After securing her spot on Team Canada for the 2023 Pan American Games, she helped the team bring home a silver medal and placed 6th individually with Truman. Her performance contributed to Team Canada's qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
